Super Sweet Blogging Award
Over the course of the last month while I was doing the A to Z +1 Blog Challenge I was fortunate at being awarded some awards by several different bloggers. The next couple of days I will answer each one of them and thank them in the order I received them. I would like thank David Prosser (twitter @davidmfprosser) for The Super Sweet Blogging Award and for reading the ramblings of a stay-at-home dad.
I received the Super Sweet Blogging Award back on August 22, 2012 from a great author David Prosser who wrote the book My Barsetshire Diaries and writes the awesome blog Barsetshire Diaries! Thanks so much David!!

According to the rules I have 5 questions I must answer.
1. Cookie or Cake?
Pie…..no seriously…usually cookie!
2. Chocolate or Vanilla?
I am a chocolate type of guy!
3. What is your favorite sweet treat?
Looking at myself in the mirror! Oh, you mean to eat….Reese Peanut Butter Cup’s
4. When do you crave sweet things the most?
Easy….when I am breathing!!!
5. If you had a sweet nickname what would it be?
No matter what I think of all I can see is a stripper pole and various candy names passing by one after the next…..sigh….I think I would like my stripper pole to have the name Sugar Sweet Jelly Daddy! I wonder if I would be a popular stripper????

People that don’t think technology is super sweet obviously don’t understand technology. I have posted various things about this on my blog and I will share it briefly in this comment to you…
Many people talk about the good old days and “how they miss them” My granny used to tell it like it was….she said anyone that missed the good old days was crazy…the good old days were right now!
She had no desire to go back to a time when she had to walk outside in the heat of the summer or the cold of the winter to go to the bathroom (outhouse.) She told me, you never knew what you would find in the outhouse and you certainly only went after dark if it was a dire emergency…indoor plumbing was just one of many great modern inventions!
Technology rocks!! Embrace it and never fall behind your kids in the learning curve….we are never to old to learn!!!

Excellent point, Aaron. I never thought about toilets as tech but they really are. Don’t expect a post on plumbing at The Wonder of Tech, but if you’ve ever been in a situation where you really needed one, you will think the toilet is the best tech invention ever!

I think you are the first or the second person I started commenting on when I started making myself known online. I had been reading for while I just hadn’t posted anything and I realized one day all of us are interconnected and it wasn’t doing me any good just to read if I wasn’t going to say anything at least part of the time (or as often as i can considering I have a 3-year-old) You are most deserving of this award….after all I don’t know many people that would take in two stray cats…..reading that posts after I gave you the award just proved my point even more….

I really wanted to tell you the other day when you stopped by but I knew I wouldn’t be posting it until Wednesday so I kept my mouth shut. I have had these awards for a little bit so i have had plenty of time to think about my nominations on them. When I received this particular award there was a couple of blogs I thought of right off and you were one of them.
I would have worked on the post earlier but I knew I was working on my A to Z blog challenge and then Melissa had surgery last week so everything was in turmoil and fatherhood will always come first here….no matter how much I want to write things my son is only little for a short time (and occasionally i have to remind myself not to often but once in awhile)

I know how important family is and they must always come first and I do wonder how you manage to find the time to write so regularly as well with your son always around you.

You are the only one to catch the “13″ …it is and I will nominate and post at some future date a few others. I actually had two more in tumblr that I would have nominated but they don’t use disqus and it makes it harder to do these type of things unless you can make longer comments. It’s the reason I always use disqus myself….I think you have a very funny blog and it’s well worth reading!
