I AM A HOT GUY NOW!
As a young man it was a dream of mine of being considered “HOT!!!” I understand that vanity is a bad thing. Truthfully, what man doesn’t want admiration from other people and thought of us a hot guy? Everyone has a personal need and want of being desired. I am no different. As I recall from my youth I was sometimes never in the HOT category. I have fond memories of laughter and a few girls saying, “I don’t think so…..(followed by more laughter)”
Yesterday, my dream of being considered a , “HOT GUY!!!” had become a “somewhat” a reality! I got added to Hot Guys With A Baby. I had earlier posted some photos on my tumblr blog and they were re-blogged to the Hot Guys site. (I actually have two blogs my dadblunders site and stay-at-homedadblunders on tumblr)
Okay, I have told you this and you are now thinking “WOW!!! That’s fantastic!!! What are you going to do now?” I wasn’t sure at first of what I was going to do with my new-found fame. I slept on it and knew I should give an exclusive interview to myself and share my award-winning “HOT” photos again.

Hot Guy Interviewer (me if you didn’t know): WOW!! Being considered a hot guy must make you feel good. How do you feel about this honor?
Me (AKA Hot Guy): I didn’t know how to feel at first. It happened to fast to feel much of anything. I told my wife first. She was very supportive. She laughed a lot and wondered who I paid. Now that a little time has passed she just shakes her head saying, “Hot guy…” and laughs. My wife has a real good sense of humor!
Interviewer: Do you feel that you are more of a “hot guy” or a parent?
Me: WOW!! Good question!!! I think I have always felt overly attractive but now I have confirmation that someone else has noticed! I can’t help that it has taken 42 years for me to get the confirmation I needed. I think though I am more of a parent. I work really hard to teach my son about vanity and how to act. He already goes around telling everyone, “I cute.”

Interviewer: Have you told your family or friends about this honor?
Me: You better believe it! I even made the following tweet about it from my twitter (dadblunders)! “I was just told I got blogged to a site titled “hot guys with babies” I think it might be a good day for this 42-year-old dad! #dad #vain” The overall reaction has been great too! I have seen tears and laughter at the same time from everyone. I have had a lot of people tell me, “Please stop…I can’t take anymore…you made me laugh so hard I cried!” I am so glad my friends were able show their emotions with tears of joy!
Interviewer: Sounds like you are pretty happy about this honor!!! Do you have any advice for other dads about being considered a “hot guy?”
Me: If I could give other dads one piece of advice I would tell them to hang in there. It took me 42 years before I was officially hot. If your going dream never give up!

Interviewer: What are your plans now that you’re a hot guy?
Me: I plan on being the same old dad I have always been that has a good sense of humor. I also want people to know that being found attractive is really cool. If you want to post me to anymore attractive dad categories I am okay with it. I would just like to seriously know where these people were when I was 16.

OH I love you Andi-Roo!! You were so quick and noticed. I wondered if anyone would even notice this post…I LOVED writing it. I had so much fun doing it. I love to write and share…I have been trying for hours to get this post done, My computer was on the fritz for most of the day so this was a good ending for my day!

LOL…If they picked me there is hope for all men now. Its always great to fulfill a childhood dream. I guess I should have dreamed bigger!….lol
Melissa sounds like an awesome woman. I love her sense of humor. It reminds me of my relationship with my hubby, and we have a good one. This lets me know you guys do, too, and that’s amazing!
We love to laugh! It is one of those intrinsic values we hold dearly. It has taken Melissa and I a lot of years to this comfortable with each other.
